Description
Tewegan Transition House is a 12 bed transitional home for young Aboriginal women that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Tewegan offers:
- A safe, cultured-based environment
- Confidential and supportive counseling, information, advocacy and referrals that will assist young women to permanent stable housing.
- An environment in which young women feel safe to reclaim pride and respect in their culture.
- An opportunity for young women to learn about the culture and celebrate their traditions
