Description
Options Bytown provides supportive, permanent housing with rents based on income to single adults who would otherwise be at risk of homelessness. Staff and tenants collaborate to build a community that honours diversity, mutual respect and community involvement. Tenants can work with on-site support workers to acquire the skills or get the services they need to live independently in their apartments.  Services include informal counselling, referrals to community-based treatments and programs, lifeskills training, crisis intervention, and educational, social and recreation programs.  All services at Options Bytown are bilingual and are provided by support workers, 7 days a week. 

There are 120 housing units, located in 2 apartment buildings in the centre of Ottawa.  Options Bytown also has access to 90 units in other non-profit housing complexes in Ottawa.

Options Bytown also operates a number of Resource Centres in Ottawa Community housing Corporation apartment communities through-out the city.
